Overview

The communications function is being brought in-house, and a seasoned Communications Manager is sought for a part‑time role (3 or 4 days per week, subject to experience).
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic communications plans to enhance the company's reputation and ensure consistent messaging internally and externally.
* Manage all communications channels, create content, oversee media relations and support the organisation's goals through effective storytelling and brand positioning.
* Foster strong relationships with business leaders and split time across external communications/PR (approximately 70%) and internal communications (approximately 30%), covering local and global brands.
Qualifications & Experience
* Seasoned communications professional with strong PR and writing capability.
* Experience in consumer durables, hardware or construction is preferred; candidates from a client-side environment will be considered.
* Ability to quickly understand dynamics and culture; ensure the tone of all communications reflects the brand and a warm, family-friendly, non-hierarchical culture.
* Able to work autonomously while remaining engaged with a large organisation; proactive in developing relationships across the business.
