Overview
Manage remediation projects including blast & paint, concrete repair and structural integrity from initial setup through to completion for Duratec's tier 1 mining clients.
Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
* Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
* Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
* Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
* Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
* Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
* Involvement with tendering/estimation
* Travel to mine sites and support team
* Client and stakeholders management
* Manage self perform crews and improve efficiencies
* Manage multiple projects
* Create and modify ITPs and SWMS
* Raise RFIs and track responses
About You
* You are a positive front-line leader with approximately 5 years of on-site management experience
* Experience in mining, plant maintenance and shutdowns
* Experience in blast and paint, concrete repair and other remediation projects
* Ability to coordinate and deliver complex shutdowns of works
* Program and planning skills
* Proficiency in managing budgets and cost control
* Exceptional stakeholder management and subcontractor management
Qualifications And Requirements
* White Card
* Driver's Licence
* Tertiary qualification in Construction or Engineering
