Procurement Specialist Job Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced procurement specialist to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of procurement activities, supporting business objectives and driving value through supplier relationships, cost optimisation, and effective contract management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and executing procurement strategies across a broad portfolio.
* Gathering and analysing data, market intelligence, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing decisions.
* Negotiating contracts up to $1M in value, including risk mitigation and performance monitoring.
* Driving competitive sourcing activities such as tenders and commercial tools.
* Building and maintaining strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
* Ensuring supplier performance meets agreed outcomes, resolving disputes, and implementing corrective actions when required.
* Promoting alignment with global procurement initiatives while supporting local business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Project Management or Finance.
* 3-5 years' experience in procurement or commercial roles, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Proven ability to develop sourcing strategies and negotiate commercial contracts.
* Strong relationship management, influencing, and communication skills.
* Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving capability.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes under pressure.
