Fuel Distributors of Western Australia – Kwinana Beach WA
Reporting to the Transport Manager this position will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for new starters and maintaining current levels of competencies for existing drivers. This position requires a "hand's on" practical person who has significant industry experience and can deliver training to maintain a safe and productive workplace.
Position includes:
* Prepare and deliver training and assessment services to operational employees.
* Conduct pre-employment and on‑going driver assessments.
* Deliver tool box discussions, workshops and training sessions around driver and terminal requirements and other topics such as Safe Loads, Dangerous Goods, and Fatigue Management etc.
* Review training programs and develop training material to reflect competency level requirements for operational employees.
* Manage training records for operational employees.
* Provide operational support as required.
Candidate requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in the Transport Industry with current MC, SLP and DG licenses.
* Experience driving Mini‑Tankers, Rigids, Semi's and Road‑Trains.
* Practical hand's on experience delivering fuel is essential.
* Knowledge and understanding of legislative requirements including regulatory compliance and road transport methods in Western Australia.
* Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Road Transport – Driving Instruction) or ability to obtain.
* MC Driver Instructor Licence or ability to obtain.
* Experience in a similar role is desirable.
* A positive attitude and passion for training.
* Outstanding communication skills including a professional, friendly, and confident approach.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office tools including Word and Excel.

The successful applicant will be offered a competitive remuneration package, company uniforms and support with training and development. This role will be based at our Kwinana operations and offered on a permanent full‑time basis. This position predominately works Monday to Friday.
