About the Role
An opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager or a capable Senior Electrical or Security Technician looking to transition into project management.
Based in our Hobart office, this full-time, permanent role will suit someone who enjoys responsibility, problem-solving and leading teams.
Experience in electronic security, including high-security or corrections environments, is highly regarded. However, we recognise this is a specialised area and are prepared to provide training and mentoring for the right person with a strong technical background and the ambition to grow into a project management role.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage projects from planning through to completion
· Coordinate labour, materials, subcontractors and schedules
· Monitor budgets, costs, variations and project performance
· Liaise with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
· Ensure compliance with safety, quality and industry standards
· Provide leadership and technical support to site teams
About You
You are practical, organised and capable of working both autonomously and as part of a wider team. You bring:

· Clear communication and stakeholder management abilities
· A safety-focused mindset and commitment to quality
· Leadership capability and a positive, team-oriented attitude
· A desire to learn, develop and take on greater responsibility
Skills & Experience (Highly Regarded)
· Project management or project coordination experience
· Senior site leadership experience within electrical or security
· Background in electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, communications)
· Exposure to high-security or corrections environments
· Estimating and tendering experience
· Electrical trade qualifications
(Not all skills are essential – training and development will be provided for the right candidate.)
Requirements
· Relevant electrical, security or project experience
· Knowledge of applicable industry standards and regulations
· Current Driver's Licence
· Ability to obtain a National Police Check
