We are seeking a full-time Junior Project Manager to join our Devonport office, supporting Verto’s continued growth in Northwest Tasmania. This is a hands-on development role designed to build your capability across all aspects of project management. Working closely with Senior Project Managers and Superintendents, you will support the delivery of projects from inception through to completion, while developing skills in project coordination, tendering and contract administration. You will gain exposure to a diverse range of sectors including public health, education, industrial, commercial and social infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:Tender coordination & support- Monitor tender opportunities and assist with coordination of submissions- Support preparation of tender documentation and capability statementsProject administration & contract support- Assist in preparing project documentation and contract correspondence- Maintain and update project registers (RFIs, variations, EOTs)- Ensure accurate document control and filingProject coordination & reporting- Support project scheduling, tracking and delivery- Attend meetings, take minutes and follow up on action items- Assist in preparing project reports and updatesFinancial & operational support- Assist with project cost tracking, reporting and financial administration- Support broader team operations and general administration tasks
About you:- Recent graduate or currently completing studies in construction, project management, architecture, engineering, or relevant discipline- Alternatively, experience within the construction industry- Highly organised with strong attention to detail- Strong written and verbal communication skills- A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to learn- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities- Full working rights in Australia
