Responsibilities
* Ability to liaise with internal and external customers
* Communicating with suppliers and prepare paperwork
* Ability to maintain stock of parts
* Diagnose and make repairs on various cordless, electric and hydraulic power tools and equipment
* Disassemble tools and use testing devices to identify problems
* Use technical manuals to determine required replacement parts and assemble tool based on manufacturer's guidelines
* Responsible for repairing defective mechanical parts and rewiring electrical systems, including soldering or coating wires for proper installation
* Competent computer skills required

As a result of our growing business, we currently have a Power Tool Repairer position available to join our company in Launceston TAS. We are looking for technicians with an electrical or mechanical background who can work in a hands‐on, fast‐paced environment. You will repair brands including – Makita, Milwaukee, Bosch, De Walt, Hitachi, Yamaha, and Chicago, among others, liaising with internal and external customers.
