FIFO Crane Technicians
WorkPac are currently seeking FIFO Crane Technicians on an 8/6 roster. This can be FIFO from Perth, New Zealand or interstate.
About the client
Our client is Australia's leading provider of lifting, rigging, engineering design and technical services. With over 100 years of history, they support clients across mining, oil & gas, construction, shipping, manufacturing, and defence from multiple locations nationwide.
What you will be doing
Install, service & maintain overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting gear.
Fault diagnosis using electrical & electronic instruments.
Install electrical switchboards and connect systems to power supply.
Test circuits and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Complete electronic service reports and documentation.
Mentor junior technicians.
What You'll Need
A Class Electrical Licence.
Background in crane maintenance, mechanical servicing, or comparable industrial equipment roles.
Knowledge of Crane and Lifting standards AS1418 and AS2550 (highly desirable).
Strong mechanical aptitude.
High-risk EWP licence & Working at Heights certification.
Current Driver's Licence.
Able to pass a Medical and Drug and Alcohol screening.
