Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join our bakery team. This hands‐on role involves preparing and baking a variety of bread and bakery products according to established recipes while maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
* Mixing, kneading and preparing dough for breads and bakery products
* Baking a range of products including bread, rolls and specialty items
* Monitoring proofing and baking processes to ensure consistent quality
* Operating commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently
* Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
* Maintaining clean and organised work areas
* Assisting with stock rotation and ingredient control
* Working collaboratively with the team to meet production targets
Requirements
* Relevant baking qualification or equivalent industry experience
* Minimum two years full-time experience as a Baker
* Strong understanding of dough preparation and baking techniques
* Ability to work early morning shifts
* Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
* Good knowledge of workplace health, safety and food handling standards
