Role Overview
The Senior Psychologist leads the Psychology Team within the Therapeutic and Counselling stream delivering high‐quality psychological support to children, adolescents and adults and provides effective clinical supervision to provisional and registered psychologists.
This role is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of psychological services including assessments and therapeutic interventions while maintaining a small clinical caseload.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the psychology team by fostering a harmonious, ethical and high‐performing work environment.
* Triage and assess incoming referrals ensuring alignment with professional competencies and service scope.
* Provide effective clinical supervision to provisional and registered psychologists including induction, case consultation and debriefing.
* Drive the growth and development of the team, ensuring alignment with CatholicCare Tasmania's mission and values.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of 5 years post‐graduate clinical experience.
* Current full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Registered supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Experience working with children, adolescents and adults.
