The Opportunity
We have two (2) opportunities for motivated individuals to assist with the operation, maintenance and construction of water and sewerage infrastructure to recognised health, environmental and BVSC standards.
As a Water and Sewer Trainee, you will assist in the construction of new water supply and sewerage infrastructure and assist with the operation, monitor and maintenance all facets of the area's water and sewerage infrastructure. You will undertake academic studies at vocational level and apply theoretical learnings to workplace activities in order to reinforce learnings.

About You
We are seeking two (2) individuals who have obtained a School Certificate (Year 10) or equivalent and hold a NSW Class C drivers' licence (or ability to obtain).
You will have the following skills and experience;
* Demonstrated analytical and investigative ability, to assist in the resolution of operational problem in the field.
* Ability to participate in the laying / repairing of water and sewer mains and associated construction activities.
* Ability to develop fault-finding skill techniques as appropriate to water supply and sewerage systems.
* Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
Benefits
These are fixed term, full time positions working 38 hours per week for a period of two (2) years.
The total remuneration package for this position commences at $28,071.68 to $48,187.78 gross per annum, comprising of:
* $482.00 to $827.40 per week base salary
* $57.84 to $99.29 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%)
Remuneration for this position is dependent upon the age and level of schooling achieved by the successful candidate.
