The Program
Start your career in aged care by completing a Certificate III in Individual Support - while earning an income.
We have "Earn While You Learn" opportunities at two of our residential aged care facilities; Killean in picturesque Inverell, NSW & Apex Road in quaint Gunnedah, NSW.
This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in residential aged care while working towards a nationally recognised qualification.
About the Role
As a Care Service Employee Trainee, you will:
* Provide daily living support to residents
* Assist with personal care (showering, hygiene, mobility)
* Help with meal service and dining assistance
* Support social and lifestyle activities
* Maintain a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment
* Deliver care in line with individualised Care Plans (under supervision)
Role Requirements
* A genuine passion for supporting older Australians
* Willingness to learn and complete a Certificate III in Individual Support
* Confidence using technology for training and care systems
* Ability to meet probity requirements:
* National Criminal History Check
* NDIS Worker Screening
* Current Driver's Licence
* Roadworthy, registered and insured vehicle
