Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Procurement Specialist to join our team. As the ideal candidate, you will have a strong background in contract management and trade compliance.
You will be responsible for providing support to our Contracts Manager in the administration of assigned contracts in accordance with our policies, procedures, and specific contract requirements. This will include establishing, maintaining, and amending assigned contracts and agreements in accordance with corporate requirements.
You will also be responsible for preparing and coordinating Contract Change Proposals (CCPs) and Proposals ready for authorisation in accordance with Company procedures. Additionally, you will perform contract authorisation within delegated authority and participate in the development and negotiation of contract and sub-contract agreements.
Your skills and experience will include a degree in Business, Finance, Law, etc or other applicable studies. You should have demonstrated background and competencies in applying contract management practice. Basic knowledge of Trade Compliance Regulations and Principles and an understanding of Australian Defence Export Controls (DEC) framework is desirable.
You will work closely with Defence and industry partners to ensure our vehicles continue to meet all mission requirements as needed by the Australian Defence Force. You will also oversee the implementation of licensing requirements by the organisation and act as the empowered official authorised to sign trade compliance applications and documents on behalf of us.
Responsibilities:
* Administer contracts as delegated by the Contracts Manager.
* Establish, maintain, and amend assigned contracts and agreements.

* Perform contract authorisation.
* Participate in the development and negotiation of contract and sub-contract agreements.
* Support the development and delivery of Contract based data deliverables to the customer.
* Evaluate and implement trade compliance regulations.
