Program Coordinator - Housing and Homelessness Sector
We're seeking a dynamic leader to provide operational oversight and strategic direction for a residential program focused on housing stability and wellbeing.
The role involves leading day-to-day program operations, ensuring quality service delivery and positive client outcomes. You'll oversee financial, staffing, and resource planning for efficient and sustainable service delivery.
The key responsibilities include:
* Leading the development and implementation of care strategies that support housing, health, and community reintegration.
* Ensuring compliance with all reporting, contractual, and legislative requirements.
* Mentoring, coaching, and developing staff through proactive leadership and succession planning.
* Fostering a positive workplace culture that prioritises safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Participating in the on-call roster and contributing to broader organisational initiatives.
Requirements
* Demonstrated experience coordinating programs in homelessness, housing, mental health, or related sectors.
* Proven ability to lead, supervise, and develop staff, with strong HR and team-building skills.
* Solid financial management skills, including budget oversight and resource allocation.
* Understanding of legislation, risk, and compliance in supported accommodation settings.
* High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Commitment to trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and culturally responsive practice.
Mandatory Requirements
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, AOD or similar.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
* Working with Children Check.
* Participation in on-call duties as required.
