Council is seeking to appoint a new member of the Works and Infrastructure team to the position of Town Operations. The position is primarily responsible for the maintenance of community facilities, parks and gardens, sporting facilities and ovals, swimming pools, irrigations systems, etc within the district townships.
Skills and experience in grounds and general maintenance including irrigation systems and swimming pool operations will be highly regarded. Attainment of competency based licences and tickets is also an advantage, however training will be provided for the right person.
It is desirable but not essential for applicants to have an operational knowledge of small plant and machinery including mowers, tractors and slashers, small trucks, and skid steer, etc.
