The Role
Technical Agronomist – Southern Qld cotton region, home based at St George, reporting to the Technical Agronomist Lead. Responsible for delivering variety trials with high scientific rigor, ensuring data integrity, interpreting complex datasets, controlling precision of data collection, operating field and analytical equipment, and communicating technical information through reports, presentations and briefings.
Responsibilities
* Maintain integrity of scientifically sound trial data.
* Interpret complex datasets, identify trends and draw conclusions.
* Ensure precision in gathering, recording and managing data.
* Operate field and analytical equipment.
* Communicate technical information through reports, presentations and briefings, tailored to the audience.
Qualifications
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience with cotton.
* Understanding of agronomy and cotton production principles.
* Minimum 3 years technical/R&D experience.
* Comfort with Microsoft Office tools and CRM software.
Location & Benefits
Role is home office based at St George with regular travel within the region. A fully maintained company vehicle (including personal use), phone, computer and iPad will be provided.
