The Urban Developer.com Pty Ltd – Fortitude Valley QLD
The Urban Developer is Australia's leading source of news, events and education for the property development industry.
Our conferences and summits bring together the developers, investors, advisers and policymakers shaping the future of our cities — and now we're searching for a Program & Content Producer to help steer that conversation.
This role is a key part of our events team. You will lead the research and insight-gathering that informs our programs — analysing data, monitoring industry shifts, and identifying the trends, challenges and opportunities that merit discussion on our stages, both in-person and virtual.
You will curate cohesive and compelling event and webinar programs, craft clear narratives, engage and secure high‑calibre speakers, and ensure every session delivered is relevant, credible and commercially valuable.
What You'll Do
* Develop event programs across our national portfolio — building themes, session concepts and content flow that resonate with C‑suite property leaders.
* Research industry trends across residential, commercial, industrial, retail, BTR, PBSA, hotels, aged care, capital markets and emerging asset classes.
* Identify and secure speakers, from major developers and institutional investors to policymakers, innovators and sector specialists.
* Manage all speaker engagement including outreach, briefing, preparation and on‑the‑day coordination.
* Collaborate with the CEO and executive leadership team to ensure content aligns with strategic priorities and market needs.
* Lead multiple conferences simultaneously, working across tight timelines while maintaining high‑quality output.
* Draft clear content, including agendas, session descriptions, scripts, briefing notes and run sheets.
What You Bring
* A solid understanding of the Australian property development and built‑environment sectors (preferred).
* Strong research skills and an eye for the trends shaping development, investment, planning and the future of cities (preferred).
* Confident communication skills and the ability to engage with senior industry leaders.
* Exceptional organisation and project management, especially across simultaneous events.
* Clear, concise writing skills with editorial discipline.
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
* Curiosity, professionalism and a genuine interest in cities and urban development.
