Supervisor, Scoper & Planner (Vegetation management)

ETS is seeking to develop a new role responsible for vegetation inspections, hazard tree quoting, coordinating and planning the delivery of the Vegetation Management program on the Western Power network. We are looking for an experienced Supervisor/Scoper to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate with Operations to plan and deliver Vegetation Management works
* Assess workloads against client guidelines and document required actions
* Conduct crew safety and quality audits, ensuring compliance with policies and safe network practices
* Inspect powerline networks, identify required vegetation trimming and quote hazard trees
* Provide clear instructions and direction to crews for completion of works
* Liaise and negotiate with property owners/customers and support strong client relationships
Qualifications
* Previous Vegetation Management experience as an Arborist, Supervisor or Scoper (essential)
* Proven ability to lead teams, drive results and provide clear trimming instructions
* Strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental compliance
* Effective communication skills, including working with property owners
* Knowledge of tree species identification and industry practices
* Strong IT, time‐management and organisational skills, able to prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure
* Desirable: Cert 2 ESI
* Desirable: Cert 3 Arboriculture
