The Role
This role will see you lead the end-to-end recruitment process, sourcing and evaluating candidates while building meaningful, long-term connections with prospective talent. A key aspect of the role also involves collaborating with university partners to deepen the company's campus presence and broaden access to a diverse pipeline of outstanding candidates. Your extensive knowledge of university recruitment, will add value to the dynamic and collaborative team that plays an important role in shaping the future of the firm. Working closely with key stakeholders across Trading, Technology, and Quantitative teams, you will help identify, engage, and bring on board exceptional Intern, Graduate, and PhD talent from across the specific market.
Key Responsibilities
3. Oversee the full technical hiring lifecycle, delivering a seamless experience from first outreach through to onboarding.
4. Work closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, define role requirements, and shape the annual campus recruitment strategy.
5. Build trusted relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels to support a collaborative hiring process.
6. Use data, metrics, and hiring trends to guide recruitment decisions and optimise talent attraction.
7. Plan and deliver both internal and external recruiting events end-to-end to strengthen employer branding and attract high-quality talent, representing the firm at career fairs, campus interviews, networking events, and recruiting functions to engage prospective candidates.
Key Skills
8. 5+ years of recruiting experience, ideally with university or early careers programs.
9. Skilled in sourcing and hiring technical talent in competitive environments.
10. Enthusiastic about engaging early-career candidates in high-volume recruitment settings.
11. Committed to building strong candidate relationships and refining interviewing expertise.
12. Flexible to travel for campus events, career fairs, and networking initiatives.
13. Able to meet tight deadlines and adapt quickly in fast-paced hiring cycles.
14. Excellent communicator, adept at connecting with candidates, managers, and stakeholders.
15. Strategic and solution-oriented, focused on innovative talent attraction and retention.
