Business Injury Manager Position
This role involves strategic management of work-related injuries and illnesses, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
* We are seeking an experienced Business Injury Manager to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing workers compensation claims, providing support to employees and stakeholders, and developing strategies to improve return-to-work outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the lifecycle of workers compensation claims from initial notification to resolution.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, management, and medical professionals, to ensure effective injury management and return-to-work strategies.
* Develop and maintain relationships with external service providers, including insurers, medical specialists, and rehabilitation services.
* Provide expert advice on workers compensation legislation, policies, and procedures to managers and employees.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Degree in a related field (e.g., law, human resources, occupational health and safety).
* Accredited Return to Work Coordinator (ARTWC) certification.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in workers compensation management, preferably in a business or corporate setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and develop practical solutions.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility.
