About the Position
Join ADT Security Australia's Commercial & Enterprise team and help shape Australia's professional security solutions. You will work nationally across high‐value clients, working with an impressively experienced BDM team, building strategic relationships and delivering integrated systems from brands including Gallagher, Integriti, Salto, Milestone and Genetec.
This role suits a commercially minded Project Engineer who thrives on turning relationships into large‐scale results. This role will suit an individual with the experience and ability to engage with enterprise opportunities delivering on promised outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a technical knowledge of enterprise‐grade security solutions, and an ability to communicate technical information such as security capabilities in a 'presentation' forum to clients providing scalable, future‐ready solutions.
As we are an electronic security integrator delivering complex, enterprise‐grade solutions across high‐security environments, you will be required to work along with Project Delivery Teams as a critical focus, to ensure the progression of promised engineering deliverables are met, therefore your hands‐on project‐driven approach will provide vital support to the business and our BDM team.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Security Technician (ready to take the next steps)/ or Site Lead/Project Engineer with experience in managing projects, delivering and commissioning high‐end integrated security systems to the commercial market.
As a Security Project Engineer, you will work closely with the BDM Team, Project Managers, Engineers, and Technicians to deliver end‐to‐end electronic security projects.
You will be responsible for design, testing, commissioning, and optimisation of integrated security solutions, while managing project timelines and resources.
Key Responsibilities — Project Delivery & Technical Execution
* Lead the design, installations, testing, and commissioning of complex integrated security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Alarm, IP Video)
* Assist on‐site teams, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth project delivery.
* Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and performance
Systems Configuration & Technical Management
* Configure and program enterprise platforms such as Gallagher, Integriti, Salto, Hexagon DC3, Milestone, Genetec and similar systems.
* Conduct diagnostic testing, PPM servicing, and system optimisation.
* Assist with site surveys, technical design input, and pricing for system upgrades.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Build strong client relationships, addressing inquiries and feedback professionally.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Electronic Security installation, commissioning, or project engineering.
* Hands‐on experience at Enterprise level - Access Control and CCTV systems.
* Knowledge of platforms: Gallagher, Integriti, Salto, Hexagon DC3, Milestone, Genetec, etc.
* Technical qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Security Engineering preferred.
* Networking fundamentals and CAD experience advantageous.
