A fantastic opportunity exists to kick start your hospital pharmacy career and join a agile team at Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH). The RNSH Foundational Clinical Pharmacist Residency is a 2-year position. RNSH is an accredited site to deliver the residency program.
The program is a structured, formalised, supported and accredited national pharmacy residency program. 
Employment Type: Temporary Full Time until 16 January 2028 (with possibility of ongoing employment) 
Position Classification: Pharmacist Grade 1/2 
Remuneration: $1,543.04 - $2,283.96 per week 
Hours Per Week: 38

Where you'll be working: Royal North Shore Hospital, Pharmacy Department
What You'll Be Doing: The residency is a practice-based experiential training program targeted at early career pharmacists or pharmacists entering hospital pharmacy practice via other pharmacy environments. Residents will rotate between 4 areas during the 2 years program (medical, surgical, service area and elective). They will also complete a quality improvement or research project.
Residents are expected to participate in clinical pharmacy services provision including the general roster as required, including participating in weekend, public holiday and on-call rosters.
Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria: 
- Must hold registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the provision of Pharmacy services to consumers, carers and families requiring medication reconciliation, dispensing and dosing.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete activities (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
- Proven ability to work independently and to establish effective collaborative working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and interagency networks.
