We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Disability Support Leader to lead our dynamic team in Orange NSW.
With a goal of supporting people with disability, older people and families to live their best lives LiveBetter provides essential care and high-quality support to our customers,employing over **** staff in various regions across VIC, QLD, NSW and TAS.
About the Position The Disability Support Leader provides leadership and management to a support team that is enabled to promote the dignity of customers and support them to develop to their potential.
Our DSL's support people in their day-to-day living.
We provide quality 24/7 care in our supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes) ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our customers.
You will provide direct support across a range of customer needs including, domestic and personal care assistance as well as assisting our customers to access and have a positive connection to the community.
About You: Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software/programs Current Australian Driver's Licence Certificate 4 in Disability Services or relevant experience.
