What You'll Do
You will bring senior leadership experience in medical education, health, higher education or a similarly complex, regulated environment, with strong capability in governance, stakeholder management and people leadership. You are confident working with senior clinicians and committees, and committed to professionalism, collaboration and service excellence.
Reporting to the General Manager, Training and Lifelong Learning, you will:
* Oversee specialty training programs from selection through to Fellowship.
* Lead IMG assessment pathways, policy development and quality assurance.
* Ensure compliance with AMC and MCNZ accreditation standards .
* Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement and defensible decision-making.
* Lead, develop and engage a high-performing team.
* Build strong relationships with trainees, clinicians, jurisdictions and stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
* Experience working in a not-for-profit organisation and/or healthcare industry.
* Demonstrated experience in Education and Training delivery / Quality Assurance / Policy / Standards / Report writing.
* Proven ability to transform strategic objectives into operational plans.
* Track record in operational management including managing staff, planning, financial management, reporting and risk management.
* Demonstrated capacity to set and manage priorities in a high activity environment and be responsive to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
* Outstanding communication, consultation and writing skills, to effectively manage interactions with key internal and external stakeholders; a convincing public speaker.
* Experience in program delivery and management; process optimisation and active resource management.
