The Roles
Due to an increase in contracts, MTC Future Ready currently has multiple full-time opportunities for passionate Disability Employment Consultants to join their Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program. These permanent roles will see you play a pivotal part in supporting participants with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions to find, secure, and maintain meaningful employment.
You'll work closely with participants to understand their skills, abilities, barriers, strengths, and aspirations, delivering tailored strategies that lead to sustainable employment outcomes. Your success will come from building trust, developing strong community and employer networks, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Available Locations
Each role is tied to a specific branch. Some roles involve rotating between nearby sites:
Multi-Site Roles
* Bankstown / Revesby / Bass Hill – rotate between these three sites
* Campsie / Punchbowl – rotate between these two sites
* Sutherland / Menai – work at both sites, with Menai visited every second Monday
Single-Site Roles
* Lakemba
* Cabramatta
* Fairfield
* Wetherill Park
* Rockdale
* Liverpool
* Edmondson Park
* Miller
* Marrickville
* Redfern
* Surry Hills
* Parramatta
* Lidcombe
* Hornsby
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct participant appointments to build rapport and develop tailored employment plans
* Engage with community networks and employers to create inclusive job opportunities
* Deliver coaching, mentoring, and support throughout the employment journey
* Ensure compliance with program obligations including reporting and job search activities
* Provide post-placement support and maintain accurate records
* Participate in professional development and training
What You'll Bring
* Lived or professional experience working with people with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions
* Qualifications in employment or disability services (highly regarded)
* Strong understanding of person-centred case management
* Excellent communication, customer service, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Knowledge of local labour markets and employer needs
* Resilience, adaptability, and commitment to inclusive employment
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between designated sites (car allowance provided)
