Workforce Extensions are seeking multiple Boilermaker/Welders to join a leading Tasmanian owned and operated fabrication business on a permanent basis.
Located within the Dorset Council local area, Our client specialises in maintenance and repairs for the agricultural and forestry industries as well as custom projects and the creation of innovative equipment.
As Boilermaker, your role will be to -
* Review blueprints, drawings and other specification paperwork prior to starting works and during the fabrication process to ensure accurate completion.
* Check measurements and dimensions and place each product component in appropriate position as noted in blueprint.
* Manoeuvre fabrication machinery and use hand torches to manipulate materials, establish templates for common tasks to ensure set standard of quality.
* Follow and update job description sheets to ensure all work is carried out and recorded accurately including itemised listing of materials used during the process
* Carry out all repairs and maintenance of machinery/equipment located in your work area.
* Ensure Integrated Management System requirements are followed as instructed by Senior Management.
To be successful in this role you will need -
* Trade related Qualification/Certificate
* Driver's Licence
* Valid White Card
