Job Description
As a Head of Primary, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operations of the College's Primary School. This pivotal leadership role is at the forefront of creating high-performing cultures that promote student learning.
You will have an outstanding knowledge of curriculum, pedagogy, and pastoral care, and a proven track record of working with teams to create environments that foster academic excellence and student wellbeing.
The Primary School caters for 700 students from Pre Kindergarten through to Year 6, with a purpose-built Early Learning Centre feeding into established Upper Primary facilities. Shared facilities with the Secondary School include an outstanding Theatre, Sports Centre, ovals, courts, and play areas.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A living Christian faith
* Curriculum &/or pastoral and teaching experience
* A sound understanding of contemporary pedagogy and wellbeing paradigms
* A sound understanding of the wider educational sector, including relevant aspects of educational psychology, theoretical underpinnings, and application in practice
* Strong team building and organisational capacity
* Excellent communication skills
* Relevant teaching qualifications and current registration with Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
