Our Head Office is based on the Central Coast, New South Wales with additional depots located in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Townsville, Perth and Hobart. We have been operating for over 40 years and employ over 250 people.
About the Role
Reporting to the National Plant Manager, you will be responsible for maintenance and servicing of general and specialised road construction equipment and trucks as well as workshop related administrative duties.
Duties
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective and productive working relationships;
- A commitment to secure work practices producing quality workmanship within the required timeframe;
- Be available to travel throughout SQLD, and possibly interstate,
- Ability to work various work hours depending on work load as required
- Well-developed communication skills along with a team-oriented outlook.
Skills & Experience
- Australian Recognised relevant trade certificates and qualifications (heavy vehicle mechanic qualifications essential);
- Maintenance and Servicing experience on small and large equipment
- Previous experience working in planned and reactive maintenance environments, diagnosis, overhaul and maintenance repairs of heavy mobile plant and equipment.
- Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence (HR is preferred)
