Job Title: Strategic Supply Chain Specialist
This role follows an onsite model to accommodate business needs while maintaining team collaboration. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for setting the strategy for the procurement of supplies and services needed to support global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute strategies to leverage volume discounts, optimize costs, and enhance supplier relationships.
2. Negotiate and execute agreements to secure a competitive market position.
3. Identify opportunities for standardizing products and services across the organization to streamline the indirect procurement process and reduce variability in purchases.
4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and market trends.
5. Lead and initiate tenders, evaluate and recommend suppliers based on cost, quality, service, and reliability criteria.
6. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
7. Analyze spend data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
* 3-5 years of experience in sourcing/purchasing organization at a global company
* Academic degree in economics, engineering, or similar field of studies
* Experience with SAP S/4HANA MM Module
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Willingness to travel
