An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic individual with experience in quality improvement and management to join our team.
Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, the Quality & Risk Manager will facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital's clinical safety and quality framework. This is a full‐time role Monday – Friday, located in beautiful Southport.
They will lead the coordination of quality improvement initiatives, projects and activities to maintain patient safety, accreditation standards, regulatory compliance and patient experience, in accordance with the mission, vision and values of the organization.

Established in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state‐of‐the‐art, 339‐bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport. With 22 operating theatres, we offer a wide range of specialties including 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology.
As a Quality & Risk Manager your responsibilities will include:
* Facilitate ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Hospital/Facility wide quality improvement program and promote risk management to support the strategic direction.
* Lead short‐notice accreditation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
* Lead quality and clinical governance outcomes.
* Ensure the hospital operates in accordance with applicable standards and complies with regulatory and accreditation requirements while striving for continuous improvement.
* Coordinate and implement the infection control program to ensure high‐quality patient care and staff safety.
* Monitor and report on patient experience and manage patient complaints.
* Adapt to operational requirements.
Qualifications & requirements
* Authority to work in Australia.
* Immunisation certificate.
* Experience in Quality & Risk Management.
* Bachelor of Nursing with a relevant post‐graduate qualification, or a tertiary qualification in Quality Management.
* Lead or extensive experience in Hospital Accreditation to ACSQHC National standards.
* Clinical expertise and commitment to high‐quality patient care and continuous improvement.
* Self‐motivated with proven ability to work as part of a high‐functioning team.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proactive, motivated and customer‐focused.
