This role focuses on product quality and performance requirements. The right person has knowledge of manufacturing, product development, sub-system performance criteria and metrology, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
* Work in a modern manufacturing environment supporting incoming inspection, in-process inspection and end of line inspection.
* Lead material review board processes to ensure timely resolution of non-conformances.
* Propose, develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to support certification.
* Support ongoing development of manufacturing work instructions.
* Review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity gains, quality improvements, and benefits to quality policy.
* Support the calibration process of test equipment, jigs and fixtures.
* Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures.
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar technical field, experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality in aerospace/defense/maritime or similar hardware, and working knowledge of design review and quality management.

Requirements:
* Working knowledge of design review and quality management of PCBA, harnessing, avionics, systems integration, composites, propulsion systems, and welding.
* Experience driving product quality and performance requirements to test and measurement system development and optimization.
* Working knowledge of product development methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) elements such as Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
* Strong analytical skills and experience with data mining, data quality, metrics generation, issue management systems, and statistical analysis tools.
* A strong ownership mindset with demonstrated capability to drive projects from start to completion.
* Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* 5-7 years of experience with developing quality systems for low-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environments and suppliers.
* Working knowledge of AS 9100/ ISO 9001-based Quality Management System requirements.
* Experience with IPC standards.
* Experience with government contracts and mil-standard requirements.
* Experience with Teamcenter, SolidWorks, and Jira.
