About the Role
We're seeking a highly analytical and detail‐oriented Quality and Compliance Analyst to strengthen safeguarding visibility and governance oversight across TheirCare's national network of 510 services. This part‐time (0.6 FTE) hybrid role works three days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) with remote and office‐based flexibility as agreed.
Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Manager, this pivotal role exists to shift the organisation from reactive compliance management to predictive governance oversight. Through sophisticated data analysis, trend monitoring and structured executive reporting, you will identify emerging risk patterns, compliance vulnerabilities and systemic safeguarding themes before they escalated into critical incidents.
This is an advisory and analytical role. You will not manage services or conduct investigations; instead, you will enable informed decision‐making through evidence‐based insights that strengthen national consistency, accountability and proactive risk management.
Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Risk Identification
* Analyse national incident, safeguarding and compliance data to identify emerging risk trends.
* Detect repeat patterns across services, portfolios, regions and states.
* Identify clusters of regulatory vulnerability and systemic compliance gaps.
* Analyse assessment & rating outcomes and recurring improvement themes.
* Monitor staffing, ratio compliance and broader regulatory trends.
Risk Monitoring & Early Warning
* Develop and maintain early‐warning dashboards and national risk heat maps.
* Monitor red school classifications and track duration, escalation and improvement trends.
* Flag emerging safeguarding risks in a timely manner to management.
* Track corrective action completion rates and recurrence patterns.
* Assess intervention effectiveness through trend comparison.
Governance Reporting & Executive Insight
* Prepare monthly national quality and safeguarding trend analysis reports.
* Develop quarterly governance summaries and contribute to Board and Executive reporting packs.
* Present complex data in clear, concise, plain‐English executive summaries.
* Provide data‐backed recommendations to inform strategic planning and resource allocation.
* Strengthen organisational movement toward predictive, evidence‐based governance.
About You
You're analytical, structured and naturally curious. You see patterns where others see spreadsheets and can translate complex data into meaningful, strategic insight.
You thrive working independently while remaining aligned to governance priorities, and you bring precision, integrity and clarity to everything you produce.
* Demonstrated strong data analysis capability.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or dashboarding platforms.
* Experience analysing compliance, safeguarding or operational datasets.
* Proficient in the NQAITS system.
* Strong written reporting and executive briefing capability.
* High attention to detail and analytical precision.
* Experience in education, children's services or other regulated environments.
* Ability to work autonomously while maintaining alignment with governance oversight.
* Tertiary qualification in Data Analytics, Business, Risk Management, Governance, Education, Public Policy or related field (desirable).
* Experience supporting Board or Executive‐level reporting (highly regarded).
Why work for us?
* Hybrid flexibility and structured part‐time working arrangement.
* A values‐driven culture that is caring, open and engaged.
* The opportunity to influence national safeguarding visibility across 510 services.
* Professional growth within governance, risk and strategic oversight.
* Be part of an organisation that enriches communities and makes a genuine impact on children and families.
