NPS Commercial WA Pty Ltd Heavy Truck Drivers (ANZSCO: ******) Full-time/Permanent $ 76,********,000(salary will be commensurate to qualifications and experience) Duties and Responsibilities: Operate heavy trucks over three tonnes to transport and deliver goods and materials.
Drive in remote, regional, and long-distance locations when required.
Conduct full pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any defects immediately.
Load and unload cargo and complete multiple deliveries across varied locations.
Obtain proof-of-delivery documents and return all paperwork promptly.
Use correct load-restraint methods in line with the Heavy Vehicle Load Restraint Guide.
Maintain communication with dispatch via radio or phone for ongoing instructions.
Complete all delivery documentation, including run sheets, work diaries, and compliance records.
Accept and action new delivery assignments as directed during operations.
Maintain driver logs in accordance with State and Federal legislation.
Report road incidents or issues to dispatch without delay.
Follow all required procedures in the event of an accident.
Refuel the truck and clean the cab and windows at the end of each trip.
Keep accurate records of goods and materials transported.
Maintain a log of daily activities and driving hours as required.
Ensure the truck and equipment are kept clean, serviced, and in good working order.
Plan and navigate delivery routes using maps, GPS, or satellite tracking systems.
Qualifications and Experience: AQF certificate II or III Valid Australian MC truck licence Minimum of 1 year's recent heavy/multi-combination driving experience Demonstrate sound geographic knowledge Australia-wide Be highly reliable with a first-class approach to safety and customer service with good communication skills Fatigue Management Certificate Able to pass a drug and alcohol and pre-employment medical MSIC Card or willing to obtain Load restraint certificate Require DG Licence or willing to obtain
