We're on the lookout for a Payroll Manager for our network of AM & FM stations across New South Wales, Queensland and Northern Territory.
Your duties will involve
* Payroll, commission, payroll tax, superannuation and contractor payment processing & reporting for all stations within the Super Radio Network
* Payroll reporting to Group General Manager, CEO, Chairperson
* Oversight of Workers compensation policies and claims
* Oversight of employment contracts and the onboarding of new and departing employees
* Oversight of EOM, mid-month, BPAY and Corporate Credit card payments
We're looking for someone with
* Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end payroll across a multi-entity or multi-site organisation, ideally with varied employment types.
* Solid understanding of Australian payroll obligations, including PAYG, superannuation, payroll tax, STP reporting, and workers compensation requirements as relevant to companies operating in New South Wales, Queensland and Northern Territory.
* Ability to manage complex payroll inputs and reporting with precision and juggle rolling deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Familiarity with posting payroll journals into the general ledger and reconciling payroll data within finance systems.
* Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee and financial information with integrity and professionalism.
* Exposure to managing workers compensation policies, claims processes, and return-to-work coordination.
* Hands on experience undertaking payment processes including EOM runs, BPAY, and corporate card reconciliations.
* Proactive in identifying inefficiencies, improving processes, and supporting system enhancements or migrations.
