About the roleAs a Mental Health Access Worker, you will provide welcoming and professional access to mental health supports and play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the Medicare Mental Health Centre (MMHC).
Your people skills will help the MMHC team create a Centre that supports individuals from all backgrounds to receive comprehensive mental health services.
Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the Centre Manager/Clinical Lead in implementing the MMHC service delivery model, including assessment pathways and transition of care arrangements;Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide integrated, evidence-based mental health services; andHelping maintain effective operations and compliance for the MMHC.About youTo be successful in this role, you will ideally hold a tertiary qualification in an Allied Mental Health discipline and/or have relevant experience working in Mental Health service delivery.
You will have experience in rural and remote communities, excellent communication skills and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.
