About the role
Nat's Car Care PTY LTD, T/A John Res Mechanical Repairs is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team in Queanbeyan, NSW. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring our customers cars are running at their best. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing automotive service provider.
What you'll be doing
* Conducting thorough inspections and diagnoses of vehicle issues
* Carrying out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake servicing, and tyre rotations
* Repairing and replacing faulty or worn-out parts, components, and systems
* Performing advanced repairs and troubleshooting on complex automotive systems
* Providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with clients
* Maintaining detailed records of all work performed
* Adhering to all safety protocols and industry regulations
What we're looking for
* Relevant trade qualification in automotive mechanics or a similar field
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic, preferably in an automotive workshop or dealership
* Extensive knowledge of a variety of vehicles and 4WD's
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and colleagues
* A valid driver's licence and your own tools
