About the role
Are you looking to join a dynamic and growing agricultural company? Rugby Farming Group, located in Bowen, QLD, is seeking a casual Pack Shed Administration and Operations person to support their thriving vegetable packing operations during the North Queensland season. This hands‐on role will see you contributing to the overall efficiency and smooth running of the pack shed, with a focus on administrative and operational duties.
What you'll be doing
* Coordinate and oversee administrative tasks such as data entry, record keeping, and document management
* Provide support to the pack shed team, assisting with daily operations and ensuring productivity targets are met
* Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and maintain positive relationships
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new systems and procedures as needed
* Assist with the management of inventory, stock control, and logistics planning
* Contribute to the overall health and safety of the pack shed environment
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in an administrative or operational role, ideally within an agricultural setting
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
* Proficient in the use of relevant software applications
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data
* Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast‐paced, dynamic environment
