You will be encouraged to think innovatively whilst developing and maintaining best practice.The Finance Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis is responsible for a wide range of financial planning & analysis activities, with a focus on Jetstar Group consolidation and reporting, business partnering with people & finance stakeholders and driving continuous improvement & automation in reporting & insights.This position is considered the 2IC to the Senior Manager, FP&A and will be able to deputise and support senior stakeholders when required.The core responsibilities of this role are:Support the Senior Manager FP&A to deliver all Jetstar and Qantas Group reporting requirements including month-end close cycle, forecasts, cashflow and scorecardsBe the conduit for Qantas finance ensuring Jetstar stakeholders understand impacts to Qantas Group financials, and to liase with with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization for stakeholder-specific interpretation and analysis (including Jetstar Asia and Japan)Managing presentations to stakeholders across the Jetstar Group, including the JET and GLTPrepare detailed business cases for People & Finance projects, support the Pitch Perfect, and track performance versus budgetIdentify risks & opportunities working with stakeholders on mitigating items to ensure we stay on track to targetsWork with department heads to provide regular, insightful analysis and challenge to ensure we track to forecast and deliver business objectivesPartner with stakeholders to identify and implement cost saving opportunities across manpower and supplier expensesOwn the overheads reporting to drive continuous transparency and awareness of the cost transformation programTo be considered for this role, you will have:Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA / CPA)Minimum seven years post graduate accounting experiencePeople management of a high performing teamTM1 knowledge and exposure to Oracle FinancialsStrong computer based skills (minimum Excel, Word, PowerPoint)A highly efficient and committed individual with a well-developed ability to work independently and meet deadlinesStrong financial and problem solving skills, commercial acumenGood communicator (oral and written) and proven ability to interact with senior managementAttention to detail, adaptability and ability to manage in a fast paced environmentChange agent committed to continuous improvementStrong ability to influence, cross-culturally, externally and internally and build relationships with stakeholders in multiple locationsAbout JetstarThe Jetstar Group has airlines in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan.
