Accounts Officers/Clerks (Accounting)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Officer to join our team, part time, with the potential to go full time. This role is ideal for someone who is confident across end-to-end accounts, comfortable managing both AR and AP, and able to take ownership of payroll processing. Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
You will work closely with management, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate financial processing, strong cashflow management, and smooth day to day operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions end-to-end
* Process invoices, statements, credit notes and supplier payments
* Follow up outstanding customer accounts via phone and email
* Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies and resolve queries
* Prepare weekly and monthly ageing reports
* Maintain accurate financial data in Xero
* Process payroll accurately and on time
* Support month end processes and general accounting tasks
* Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers and customers
* Assist with continuous improvement of finance processes
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
* Confident using Excel for reconciliations, data analysis and financial reporting
* Experience processing payroll
* Fast‐Moving Consumer Goods Experience: Exposure to manufacturing or a fast‐paced operational environment is required
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
* Strong problem‐solving skills and initiative
* Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
