You should work in collaboration with our current Music & Performing Arts Specialist teacher to provide a quality program. The successful applicant will ideally plan, teach, and assess challenging and engaging programs, promoting an environment of active and positive learning.You should be highly motivated and committed to the promotion of the Arts within the school. You will ideally co-ordinate and develop an innovative program across the school to excite and inspire students, incorporating teaching a range of instruments, and managing the IMSS program. Suitable applicants possess the vocal and choral skills to support the teaching and management of our choir and collaboratively lead them in school and external performances.The successful applicant will ideally have a background in organising and coordinating music and performing arts school events. Forming strong links with community groups is integral to this role in developing the school's music and performing arts program. Having a willingness to take on extra-curricular activities to enhance learning opportunities for students will be highly regarded.In addition, the successful applicant should have high expectations of themselves and students.
