About Our Client
An exciting opportunity exists to join a global FMCG brand as it establishes direct operations in Australia. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in transitioning from an importer-based model to a fully integrated supply chain operation. With a strong global presence and ambitious growth plans, the company is now looking for a capable, hands-on Supply Chain Manager to manage demand planning, inventory, logistics, and third-party partners across the region.
Job Description
Own the full supply chain function in Australia, from import to final delivery Manage relationships with 3PL providers, including cold chain logistics Oversee import/export operations across multiple ports Collaborate with global teams across as part of a broader S&OP process Support the buildout of local operations and transition to a direct-distribution model Help design and implement scalable processes in a growing, lean team environment
The Successful Applicant
Proven experience in FMCG supply chain, logistics, and import/export operations Strong working knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory control, and 3PL management Experience supporting a market shift from third-party importer to direct distribution Excellent communication skills with the ability to work remotely and cross-functionally across global time zones Hands-on and self-driven - comfortable working in a startup-style environment within a larger global structure
