About Our Client
An exciting opportunity exists to join a global FMCG brand as it establishes direct operations in Australia. This newly created role will play a pivotal part in transitioning from an importer-based model to a fully integrated supply chain operation. With a strong global presence and ambitious growth plans, the company is now looking for a capable, hands-on Supply Chain Manager to manage demand planning, inventory, logistics, and third-party partners across the region.
Job Description
- Own the full supply chain function in Australia, from import to final delivery
- Manage relationships with 3PL providers, including cold chain logistics
- Oversee import/export operations across multiple ports
- Collaborate with global teams across as part of a broader S&OP; process
- Support the buildout of local operations and transition to a direct-distribution model
- Help design and implement scalable processes in a growing, lean team environment
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in FMCG supply chain, logistics, and import/export operations
- Strong working knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory control, and 3PL management
- Experience supporting a market shift from third-party importer to direct distribution
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work remotely and cross-functionally across global time zones
- Hands-on and self-driven - comfortable working in a startup-style environment within a larger global structure
