Technical Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced technical leader to spearhead the development and implementation of software solutions. The key objective of this role is to work closely with the engineering team to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to enhance their skills and expertise.
* Develop and implement Agile methodologies to ensure efficient delivery of technical projects.
* Prioritize and drive automation in the delivery process.
* Embed a DevOps/DevSecOps mindset and practices within the team.
* Identify opportunities to improve development processes and standards.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in coaching and mentoring engineers. You should also have proficiency in Guidewire ClaimCenter, Contact Manager, and Guidewire system/business frameworks. Additionally, you will need to have strong experience in development frameworks (Java/Spring/Spring Boot), Gosu(for Guidewire), Cloud (AWS/Azure), Databases (SQL/ORM/JDBC), REST APIs, and DevOps. Proven testing skills including ATDD and BDD are also essential.
