School Uniform Retail Store Assistant - Part Time
Perm-A-Pleat Schoolwear is seeking a pleasant and productive Part Time Retail Sales Assistant to work in our Bunbury Retail Outlet. The role requires a minimum of 23 hours per week over 3 days: Tuesday to Saturday. Extra hours will be required during peak trading periods throughout the year, including and not limited to Jan – Feb. The successful applicant must have previous retail experience and have or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Card when applying for this role.
Responsibilities
Provide friendly customer service and assist customers with product selection.
Operate a computerised cash register (POS) and handle cash transactions accurately.
Maintain knowledge of products and promotions to assist customers effectively.
Support store operations and visual merchandising to ensure a positive shopping experience.
Requirements
Proficiency in operating a computerised cash register (POS).
Cash handling and good knowledge of computer packages.
Experience with Retail Manager software is a plus.
