Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Clinical Informatics Manager, this role bridges the gap between clinical practice and health informatic technology. You will collaborate with clinicians, external vendors and internal development teams to support and optimise clinical systems, ensuring high‐quality documentation and workflow improvements. You will assist in designing, testing and implementing system enhancements while minimising disruption to patient care. You will work closely with frontline staff to identify workflow opportunities, promote new technologies, provide training and support, and analyse clinical data to drive best practice. This is a Monday‐Friday role with flexibility, 0.8–1 FTE, with an on‐call requirement of one week per month.
Required Qualifications
* Previous healthcare experience with knowledge of clinical documentation, workflows and policy requirements.
* Understanding of clinical support technologies and eMR system integration with biomedical equipment.
* Basic knowledge of software development lifecycles and vendor products.
* Strong project management, proposal writing and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Clinical education or teaching experience (preferred).
* Current or previous AHPRA registration as RN or other allied health professional (preferred).
* Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline (preferred).
