Are you an experienced infrastructure professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving asset maintenance? We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Plan & Infrastructure Advisor to provide expert advice and support for schools and educational facilities in Mackay for a QLD Government client.
About the Role:
As the Infrastructure Advisor, you will be responsible for providing strategic advice and consultancy services to senior management and staff on a range of facilities planning and asset management issues. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, safety, and prioritisation of maintenance activities across the region.
* Deliver client-focused facilities services and expert advice to school staff, regional centres, and other educational institutions.
* Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement in asset maintenance processes.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and risk management requirements.
* Manage and monitor capital works, maintenance, and facilities projects within scope, budget, and quality standards.
* Provide high-level guidance on facilities planning, investment, and asset management strategies.
* Work collaboratively with regional facilities teams, the Infrastructure Services Division, and external service providers.
* Prepare ministerial responses, reports, and briefing materials.
* Conduct operational audits of physical assets and provide strategic recommendations.
* Participate in the professional development of regional staff in relevant competencies.

* Blue card required
* Criminal history check is required
Requirements:
* Blue Card (Working with Children Check) – mandatory.
* Criminal History Check – mandatory.
* Experience in facilities management, asset maintenance, or infrastructure advisory roles.
