As a 9News producer, reporter, or graphic artist, you'll be responsible for gathering and creating high-quality journalism which informs, educates and engages our viewers.
**Job Description**:
The following are the qualities and skills we are seeking:
- A deep understanding of the news. You must have a strong comprehension of current events, politics and the news cycle in general. You must be able to identify stories and angles which will resonate with viewers.
- Excellent communication skills: You must be able to communicate effectively with the team and convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Attention to detail: You must have a keen eye for detail and spot errors or inconsistencies.
- Strong organisational skills: You must be highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
- Creative thinking: 9News producers and journalists think outside the box and are willing to take risks.
- Ability to work under pressure: You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. You remain calm and focused under tight deadlines and in the face of unexpected challenges.
