LOCATION
Please note the ideal candidate will ideally be based in or near the Central Wheatbelt or Esperance region, with locations such as Brookton, Corrigin, Kondinin, Bruce Rock, Merredin, Lake Grace, or Esperance all considered suitable. The role will involve some travel across the region.
PURPOSE
As a Precision Ag Specialist you deliver and commission our robots on farm, applying advanced technical knowledge, strong systems thinking and sound judgement to ensure every delivery runs smoothly. You uphold SwarmFarm's standards for customer experience, while supporting growers with clear guidance, practical training and solid understanding of how our technology fits into their whole-farm system. This role is essential in helping farmers succeed with autonomy from day one.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience, Education and/or Knowledge
* Trade or engineering background is highly regarded.
* Experience with programming logic controllers is highly regarded.
* Proven diagnostics and troubleshooting capability for complex technical systems.
* Knowledge of Low Voltage Electrical and hydraulic system principles and schematics.
* Advanced computer skills, including spreadsheets and word processing. Experience with Linux highly regarded.

* High-level of empathy for customer needs and agricultural operations, demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality service outcomes.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery and Commissioning
* Lead the professional delivery of SwarmBots and SwarmConnect attachments across Australia, ensuring each handover meets SwarmFarm's standards.
* Ensure every SwarmBot is configured correctly, safe to operate and performing to spec.
* Conduct professional, high-quality handovers and training during delivery.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
* Diagnose and resolve technical, mechanical and autonomy-related issues.
* Assess field-identified issues, supporting the implementation of firmware deployments, software updates and approved hardware modifications.
* Collaboration with the Product, Engineering and Field Service teams provide feedback insights that inform design change, product evolution and autonomy enhancements.
Team Collaboration
* Guide and support Customer Success Specialists in technical understanding and early troubleshooting.
* Build capability and confidence across the team; lead by example.
Events
* Represent SwarmFarm as a technical specialist at events, engaging with customers and partners to demonstrate system performance, autonomy workflows and product benefits.
* Ensure Swarmbots are showcased correctly and safely with high professionalism.
