The Opportunity This role is suited to an experienced real estate finance professional who thrives in origination, has strong business acumen, and is comfortable working across complex and bespoke transactions. You'll be responsible for generating new investment opportunities, primarily across commercial, industrial, and select residential projects, with a focus on loans exceeding $10 million. You'll work closely with internal credit and investment teams to structure deals, manage due diligence, and see transactions through to execution. This is a senior position for someone looking to make a genuine impact and grow with the business. What You'll Be Doing You'll lead the end-to-end process of originating and executing large-scale property lending transactions (typically $10M). This includes identifying opportunities through your network, structuring and negotiating terms, managing due diligence, and presenting investment cases for approval. You'll work closely with developers, brokers, and borrowers to build a high-quality pipeline, while collaborating internally with credit and investment teams to get deals done. Your insights into the market will help shape lending strategy, and your ability to manage relationships will be key to long-term success in the role. What You Bring Extensive experience in real estate finance, investment banking, private credit, or commercial lending. Deep understanding of real estate lending fundamentals and structuring principles. Track record of originating and closing commercial property loans of $5M. Strong commercial judgment and credit analysis skills. Established relationships across the property ecosystem (developers, brokers, investors, etc.). Confident communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Degree in Finance, Business, Property, or related discipline (postgraduate qualifications advantageous). Why Apply?
