The General Manager, IT is responsible for the planning, design, development and implementation of an IT strategy and roadmap that supports Bridgestone's business goals across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea while also establishing and upholding strong IT governance frameworks, policies, and compliance standards. This role oversees the management of IT systems, networks, infrastructure, and applications, ensuring they operate reliably, securely, and at scale, with robust plans in place for business continuity and disaster recovery. A key aspect of the position involves leading and developing the IT team, encouraging technical growth and fostering a culture of collaboration. The effective management of IT projects, using project management frameworks, is essential in enhancing operational efficiency and driving continuous innovation.
Responsibilities
* Plan, design, develop and implement an IT strategy and roadmap that supports business goals across Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
* Establish and uphold IT governance frameworks, policies and compliance standards.
