Manager Maintenance Planning and Technical Records is a leadership role within our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO). You will lead a high-performing team to ensure our fleet remains safe, compliant, and ready for service. This role oversees the delivery of maintenance planning and technical records outcomes for the NAA CAMO, working closely with Approved Maintenance Organisations (AMOs) and external vendors to ensure maintenance services for NAA aircraft and aeronautical products are effectively planned, executed, and compliant with technical records standards. You will promote aircraft availability, maintain compliance with CASR Part 42 regulations, and deliver exceptional customer service across NAA through a strong focus on safety, leadership, and operational excellence. You will foster a positive team culture, develop career pathways and succession plans, and drive continuous improvement in engineering operations.
Responsibilities
* Lead a high‑performing CAMO team to ensure fleet safety, compliance and readiness for service.
* Oversee maintenance planning and technical records for the NAA CAMO, collaborating with AMOs and external vendors to ensure compliant planning, execution and records management.
* Promote aircraft availability and ensure compliance with CASR Part 42 regulations.
* Provide exceptional customer service across NAA with a strong emphasis on safety, leadership and operational excellence.
* Cultivate a positive team culture, develop career pathways and succession plans, and drive continuous improvement in engineering operations.
Qualifications
* Minimum 7 years' experience in the aviation industry.
* Trade qualifications within aircraft engineering scope.
* Strong written and oral interpersonal communication skills.
* Proven leadership in maintenance planning or continuing airworthiness within aviation.
* Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and technical records management.
* Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence and drive results.
* Passion for safety, innovation, and operational excellence.
* Demonstrated experience in airworthiness environments; planning experience is highly desirable.
* Degree in business, engineering or an aviation-related field is desirable.
